KABUTO
It's a 2.5D and topdown video game with hack n' slash and metroidvania elements. The player will be able to explore and interact with NPC's, objects and discover new areas to save an Empire in conflict; the insect clans have fallen under the tyranny of the toads. Now it is the mission of the only standing warrior of the insects to recover the sacred weapons of the clans and restore hope to his people.

My participation in Kabuto was key to the development of my professional profile; This project represents the entire process starting from an idea, establishing a concept and then reaching the design stage to produce a functional prototype that has all the core essence of the complete experience that the game will have.

My main duties in the project are:

Design and documentation of the game experience, game loop, mechanics, levels, etc.

Programming of all required systems based on gaming experience. (Audio, animations, life, particles, UI, etc.)

Playtesting and Debugging, throughout the production time two testing stages were carried out, which allowed corrections and rethinking of the game experience and identifying bugs within the prototype.
